Minari intricately weaves a tale of a Korean-American family's pursuit of the American Dream on an Arkansas farm. Amidst trials, the farmhouse burning becomes a turning point. Using a metaphorical house of cards, I depict the family's struggles and their collapse mirroring the farmhouse tragedy. Starting with building anticipation, the sequence unfolds like a card house construction, culminating in the revelation of the film's title as the cards fall. The final shot, an overhead view of strong cards strewn, symbolizes resilience—despite loss, the family stands stronger, united, with the enduring legacy of the minari plant from the wise grandmother.
